Loud As The Rolling Sea

Empower DC is proud to partner with local artist Christopher Prince as he presents "Loud as The Rolling Sea - Songs of Resistance and Recognition", a performance of socially conscious/protest music and poetry. We congratulate Christopher on his Atlas Arts Lab Residency and invite you to join him on this creative journey. 

This will be engaging conversation on the role of music and political activism with a group of artists that include Dr. Theo Kano, Artistic Director of the Gay Men's Chorus of Washington and Singer/Song Leader Luci Murphy.  Panelists will also share music they think best exemplifies the power of music to spur people to action.  This event is free to the public .
