Sebrena Rhodes is a DC Native, born and raised in the Deanwood area of Washington DC. She has her associate degree in early childhood education.  She serves as a Community Organizer with Empower DC for five and half years in the Ivy City, Ward 5 neighborhood where she is a resident, served on the Community Advisory Board for Unity Health Care, a leader with Friends of Crummell, and is currently serving a third term as ANC Commissioner for the Ivy City community Single Member District (5D02). Sebrena is a mom of 6 and has 10 grandchildren who she is very passionate about. Standing up for the rights of the people has always been her beliefs along with her friends and neighbors.
